Remembering September 11th at NEMSM
The National EMS Museum is dedicated to collecting and preserving your stories and the stories of the emergency medical services (EMS) and pre-hospital care throughout the United States.  As the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001 approaches we are developing a traveling exhibition and a virtual exhibition to commemorate the event, remember our fallen colleagues, and educate our visitors on the lasting impact of the events that unfolded that day.

We invite you to share your memories of September 11th and your hopes for the future as we mark this very important day in history. Responses collected by August 15th will be included in our traveling exhibition, opening in September. Responses submitted after August 15th will be preserved in our archives and added to our virtual museum exhibit on a quarterly schedule.  Thank you for your service and thank you for sharing your story with us and our visitors across the country.

*As with many of us at the Museum, we know the events of Sept. 11 have deeply affected many, and it is sometimes difficult to share your story.  We invite you to share as much or as little as you are comfortable sharing.  If you prefer to share over the phone or via a video call please get in contact with our director, Kristy Van Hoven at 612.298.4567  or director@emsmuseum.org
