We Are Collective: Artist in Residency Application
We Are Collective welcomes all movement artists to apply for a residency with us to explore, expand, and create as a community. As a part of the Collective, you will be asked to do three things (with an optional fourth) that are pivotal to We Are Collective's foundational beliefs.

We Are Practice: Create, reinvent, share a class with the community.
We Are Shared Experience: Explore, revisit, discover, and offer a performance.
We Are Community: Highlight something foundational to who you are.
We Are Knowledge: An opportunity to share your dance writing work. (Optional)

As a Resident Artist, you also receive a FREE photoshoot from our Resident Photographer, Phylinese Brooks (@ubx3photography).

We Are Collective believes in giving support to the community to increase access to the dance world. The artist in residency receives 50% of donations per event they offer. The other 50% feeds into an endowment to, in the future, offer stipends for Artists in Residency to pay their dancers, enable better production, receive higher rates, etc. We thank you for understanding and ensuring the growth of We Are Collective.
