Scholarship Application

Arizona residents are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applications for this scholarship are first-come, first-served basis. As of November 1st, 2022, the maximum award is $400 member/$200 non-members per calendar year. 

If approved, a member of the Scholarship Committee will issue an approval email for the reimbursement. To receive reimbursement, awardees must submit proof of payment and course completion within 45 days of the event's end. Reimbursement will only be issued for registration fees/tuition. IDA Arizona will not reimburse for meals, travel, parking, or incidentals related to the conference or training. This scholarship is awarded as a reimbursement only


About the scholarship:

The purpose of this scholarship is for educators to increase their understanding of dyslexia and the science of reading.  Any course, training program, webinar, conference, and other relevant training events in the field of dyslexia and evidence-based instruction will be approved. 

Training and Reimbursement Instructions:

  • Choose a dyslexia training course of your liking and complete the form.

  • Once the form is received, IDA Arizona will issue an approval email for the training and reimbursement.

  • Register, pay, and participate in the training course.

  • After the training, submit proof of payment  and completion within 45 days.

  • Once the certificate is received, IDA Arizona will issue a reimbursement check of up to the maximum award amount.
