It is a condition of joining the Barossa Archery Club that you meet one or more of the following four (4) criteria:
1. You are new to the sport
You have successfully completed an Archery Beginners Course within the past 12 months at:
- Barossa Archery Club, or
- Any club affiliated with Archery Australia (please supply proof of course attendance).
2. You are an experienced archer and member of an Archery Australia affiliated club
You can transfer to our club or take out an Associate membership with our club (current membership card must be sighted)
- You are a financial member of a club affiliated with Archery Australia, or
- You were a financial member within the past twelve months (i.e. membership has recently lapsed).
3. You are an experienced archer but non-member of an Archery Australia affiliated club
Membership may be granted to individuals who are not a current member of an AA-affiliated club on the following criteria
- You were a financial member of a club affiliated with Archery Australia (but it was more than 12 months ago), or
- You are/were a financial member of a club under the Archery Alliance System (ABA, 3DAAA or TAA) and
- We assess you as a safe and competent archer (by a certified Club Coach), and
- You then shoot as a temporary member, paying the appropriate fees, for a period of four weeks, to learn how the club operates.
4. Non-Shooting/Social membership
You are a friend and supporter of the Club, have a family member in the Club, or are a retired member of the Club.
