Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance of India believes it is essential that individuals with TSC have access to medical professionals that have experience in managing Tuberous Sclerosis and have made a commitment to stay up to date with best practice in the diagnosis, surveillance, and management of TSC.

We believe medical professionals can benefit from associating with TSAI

- TSAI can help educate caretakers and patients so that there was better compliance with Doctor’s treatment.
- Get added to the TSC Professional Directory
- Create opportunities for professional and parent group interactions and exchange of ideas through workshops   and training sessions
- Organize TSC related effort under one umbrella for better synergy and coordination between the professional community.
- Association with TS Alliance will create opportunities to take part in research – national and international- in Tuberous Sclerosis.

TSAI is also maintaining a directory listing of medical professionals that have made this commitment and may be helpful when:

- A person with TSC is seeking a second opinion;
- A medical professional is looking for expert advice to assist them in caring for a person with TSC;
- A person with TSC is looking for a new medical professional because they are moving area or transitioning from paediatric to adult services.

The directory is not published to the public. It is used by TSAI staff and volunteers to respond to queries from TSC affected individuals, their caregivers, and their doctors.
