Thank you for your interest in applying to be an assistant director for UCIMUN. This position does not require any previous experiences with MUN, but it does require you to be present at the weekly meeting from 4-5pm on Tuesdays throughout the whole ay 2021-2022. During those meetings we will go over all the necessary trainings to help you prepare for the conference coming up in April 23-24th, so it is crucial that you are available for these times. If not, however, there are still other opportunities that UCIMUN offers, so feel free to check those out at our website or social media. If your application is selected, we will reach out to you to schedule a quick interview to get to know you better and how you can possibly contribute to our team. Please note that you cannot apply for admin or crisis staff at the same time if you are applying for this position.

To reiterate, being an assistant director is not only a very rewarding experience, but also a great learning experience for you to improve your public speaking skills by chairing the committee and develop deeper knowledge of key international issues that will be discussed within your committee.
