Children ages 6 and older are invited to sharpen their reading skills during an in-person visit from Fido and Friends Assisted Therapy Group teams in the Community Event Room on the first floor of the library.

After an introduction, children will take turns being paired with dogs that they can read to one-on-one for 5-10 minutes.

Children younger than age 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Masks are required for all children and adults, except children younger than age 2.

Books will be available for children to choose from for their reading session or they may bring a book from home to read.
