Because of the severity of the disease, we strongly suggest that LGS patients go to a Comprehensive Care Center or a place they can receive comprehensive care services at least once. Please consider this as you complete this application.
An LGS Comprehensive Care Center is expected to:
- Offer a multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of LGS
- Have a high concentration of expertise and related resources centered on LGS
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge base and familiarity with LGS
- Commit to furthering clinical knowledge of LGS through collaboration with others, including the Foundation
- Have involvement in studies and/or clinical trials for LGS and are knowledgeable about new treatments and cutting edge research.
