AMA invites youths between ages 15-25 years to participate in our monthly youth sessions! These youth sessions will be held in-person at the library
What to expect: A guest speaker is invited to share their expertise on various topics including COVID-19, Mental Health, Bicultural Healthy Living. Youths are encouraged to share their ideas, personal advocacy, lived experiences, and curiosity through open discussion. In addition, youth will focus on creating group projects centered on the topics that are discussed.
The youth discussions encourage learning, development, and creativity for participants, while also inspiring positive impact on their communities
AMA is currently offering 12 discussions. Each session lasts up to 2 hours on Wednesdays (1x a month) from 5:00-7:00pm Central Time.
Each youth will receive a stipend for their time and dinner will be served.
