AAP Alumni Association Executive Board Elections
All graduates of New York University who participated in the Academic Achievement Program (AAP) are members of the AAP Alumni Association.
The purpose of the AAP Alumni Association is to develop professional relationships and build a cohesive network between AAP alumni and current AAP students. The AAP Alumni Association also seeks to provide a pipeline to help students adjust to life as an alumni.
The affairs and events of the AAP Alumni Association shall be under the general direction of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall have the authority to act on behalf of the AAP Alumni Association and have the power to administer procedures, manage, as well as, facilitate the activities and business of the AAP Alumni Association. The Executive Committee shall represent AAP Alumni Association at events, is responsible for developing strategy, setting short term and annual goals that align with the goals of AAP.
Each executive appointee shall be elected by other AAP Alumni Association members and shall take office on November 1st unless otherwise specified, at the time of the election.
