We want you to join the TOS Student Committee! The goal of this group is to increase engagement within the TOS Student Members and provide leadership opportunities to participants.

The TOS Student Rep (currently Josette McLean) co-ordinates this committee, and we have several sub-committees. Members can join one or more sub-committees based on their availability and interests. Below, you can indicate which sub-committees you are interested in.

No prior leadership experience is required, just a desire to connect with TOS Student Members! You must be a TOS Student Member, but if you are not currently, you can sign up for free here: https://tosmc.memberclicks.net/

We hope this committee will have participation from people who hold diverse identities including but not limited to: degree programs, national origin, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, scientific disciplines, ability and health status.

Social events, Chair: Fahim Sowrav (plan events for students, including virtual, and Ocean Sciences Meeting)

Social media, Chair: need replacement (create distribution plan, write/collect content from students)
