Somerville Spring Clean Up/Comcast Cares Day 2019!
Join us on May 4th, as we celebrate spring and get together with neighbors to beautify our community spaces. Our annual Mayor’s Spring Clean Up/Comcast Cares Day is a city-wide cleanup and gardening day at 11 different sites across Somerville. The City of Somerville and Comcast will again generously provide sponsorship for the day. We are looking for as many volunteers and groups as possible to get out, get dirty, and clean up our parks, streets and gardens!

This year we will be hosting a community breakfast instead of a lunch. Please join us and Mayor Joseph Curtatone for welcome pastries and coffee 9-10 am.

Pre Registration is not required. However, if you have a group larger than 5 people coming together it is very helpful to let us know you are coming so we can make sure we have enough supplies for your team.

Cleaning begins at 10 am at all of the sites below:

East Branch Library (115 Broadway)
South St. Farm (138 South St)
Quincy Street Open Space (14 Quincy St)
ArtFarm (10 Poplar St)
Argenziano School & playground (290 Washington St)
Morse Kelley playground (Corner of Summer St & Craigie St)
Blessing of the Bay Boat House (32 Shore Drive)
Mystic Housing Steps (connecting housing to Healey School)
Community path, Cedar St. entrance (154 Cedar St.)
