Within the project GENIALG, we are assessing the socio-environmental benefits of seaweed farming by using the Nature’s Contributions to People approach: GENIALG - WP 6: https://genialgproject.eu/about/work-packages/
 
Nature’s Contributions to People are all the contributions, both positive and negative, of living nature to people’s quality of life. For example, seaweed farming produces many commodities form which we benefit, but they can also contribute for a better water quality by removing the excess of nutrients in the water.
