High School Biology Preview - an online course offered through STEMBoost (Summer 2020 Preview Series)  
Announcing a new workshop series for incoming freshman at Monta Vista: The 9th Grade Biology Preview, taught by high-performing Biology students, including Science Olympiad national medalists and Bio Olympiads. Consisting of 7 sessions and a student panel discussing each teacher’s unique class styles at the end, these workshops are offered to give soon to be high schoolers an overview of the 9th grade Biology course in order to ease the stress most people have when entering high school, as well as boosting one’s knowledge of the subject to decrease the amount one has to learn during the school year. Biology is a fascinating and complex field and it shouldn’t have to give a student anxiety or stress, thus having the knowledge and confidence going into high school will greatly reduce any feelings of anxiety or stress and drastically improve one’s overall mental health.

Schedule:
Date: July 6 - to July 29th 2020, Mondays & Wednesdays
Hours: 7:30 - 8:30 PST
8 sessions
 
Venue: Online via Zoom.
Cost: $150
