This award recognizes an individual or individuals from the ranching community who exemplify excellence in land stewardship and rangeland conservation within their management practices.

•Need not be a member of the International Society for Range Management
•Must be a ranch owner, operator, or manager of an economic ranch unit
•Must not be a member of State or County Awards Committee or of the Board of Directors
•Must not have received this award within the previous six years
