Registration Form Waiting List Japanese Tables Evening (February 8th)

During the Japanese Tables Evening you can meet with high-ranking diplomats from countries all over the world. In an informal setting and during 4 rounds of 25 minutes you can discuss all kinds of subjects, such as international relations, the diplomatic life, or more specific topics. The last Japanese Tables Evening, held in 2019, was a huge success with an attendance of more than 45 diplomats and over 150 students.

This year’s Japanese Tables Evening will take place on Wednesday, February 8th 2023 at the City Hall of Leiden (Breestraat 92) and will start at 19.00h. All students are welcome to attend the event, which is completely free of charge.  

Note: There are only 150 spots available. If you apply after these 150 have been filled, you will be put on the waiting list.

You will be contacted via the submitted email adress not later than a week before the event with further information about the event and a schedule of the evening. By checking this box you confirm your attendance to the 2023 JTE, which includes confirming you will abide to the house rules of the JTE which are:

1. You wear clothes within the dress code 'Tenue de Ville'
2. You behave respectfully towards the ambassadors, diplomats and staff.
3. SIB-Leiden has the permission to remove you from the event if you behave inappropriately.
4. If you cannot attend the event, you will send an email to bestuur@sibleiden.nl with your cancellation of attendance at least 24 hours before the event. (19:00 Tuesday february 7th)
