Submit your questions for 'Ask the Expert' virtual learning session with Tess Williamson - How River Detectives can shape your life !
The River Detectives program invites all River Detectives students to submit questions for a pre-recorded virtual learning session with ex-River Detective student and current Environmental Science Honors university student Tess Williamson.

Tess participated in the River Detectives program as a student of Woodend Primary School in her younger years and this has influenced her love of nature and the path she chose to take in her personal life and in her studies.

It's hard to imagine how something you experience in primary school can make a difference but Tess will talk with us about how small treasured experiences in life can make BIG impacts.  Join us to hear about;

the wonderful sustainability program she was immersed in at primary school
what she learnt as a River Detectives student
her favourite environmental education experiences
how her time as a River Detective students influenced her journey
what her university studies involve now
her experience as a community Waterwatch volunteer

Please note this session is best suited to Year 3 – 8 students.

PRE-ACTIVITY: Watch one, two or three of the short videos provided at the links below with your class/family to tune into why learning about the environment and connecting with nature is so important and then submit your question/reflection  . . .
