1. All sponsored tickets will be issued in the name of the participants. Make sure the name submitted is consistent with the name in travel document. Name change is not allowed.

2. No flight/date change requests should be made after seat block confirmation.

3. Passenger names must be provided at least 14 working days before the departure date.

4. In the event of a student's inability to participate due to illness or medical reasons, it requires the submission of appropriate medical certification to support the change request.

5. The programme is open to all schools. But if a child under 11, he/she needs to be accompanied by an adult on board.

6. Participants must redeem their tickets on or before 31 December 2024, or else tickets will be forfeited. Confirmation of reservations will be subject to flight availability and capacity control of Hong Kong Airlines.

7. Travelling period: 09 April 2024 to 23 March 2025 exclusively, on a first come first served basis.

8. The following embargo period (Non-applicable travel period) apply to the sponsored tickets:

29 April 2024 – 08 May 2024

07 June 2024 – 11 June 2024

28 June 2024 – 2 July 2024

13 July 2024 – 1 September 2024

13 September 2024 – 19 September 2024

27 September 2024 – 08 October 2024

19 December 2024 – 05 January 2025

11 January 2025 – 16 February 2025

9. Tickets are only applicable on HKA-operated flights to Beijing (HX398 and HX399) and Shanghai (HX236 and HX247).

10. Both departure and return sectors of taxes, fuel surcharges and airport construction fees will be collected at the time of ticket issuance.

11. A 20kg free checked baggage allowance will be entitled.

12. Accommodation and insurance are not included in this sponsorship.

13. Minimum stay and maximum stay of free tickets are 2 days and 14 days respectively. The departing city and return trip destination must be Hong Kong. Tickets are non-reroutable.

14. The entire journey must be completed within the applicable travel period.

15. Each school is only entitled to ONE travel opportunity.

16. Sponsored tickets should avoid being requested for the same dates and flights. They are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Applications may be rejected if there is more than ONE request for the same flight.

17. Responses must be provided within the advised deadline. Failure to apply within the deadline will result in an automatic forfeit of sponsorship eligibility.

18. Flight numbers may be changed due to the winter/summer schedule.

19. Schools are advised not to make further arrangements (such as accommodation /transportation) before receiving confirmation.

20. All sponsored tickets cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, credit or any other items.

21. All sponsored tickets are subject to the existing routes provided by Hong Kong Airlines. If there are any route suspensions or cancellations, Hong Kong Airlines will offer alternative tickets with similar fares only. Hong Kong Airlines will not provide any cash compensation.

22. Hong Kong Airlines reserves the right to suspend, amend, or modify any of these rules, terms and conditions.

23. All matters of disputes arising from the sponsored tickets will be subjected to the final decision of Hong Kong Airlines. No correspondence will be entertained. Any violation by a participant of any of these Terms and Conditions will result in disqualification of the relevant participant.

24. The personal data collected in this activity will be used for this activity only. The data will be kept confidential and will not disclose to a third party.

25. The application will be invalid if the information is entered incorrectly.

26. If the application is submitted repeatedly, the first version will prevail.
