GMQG Barn Quilt Documentation Form
The Green Mountain Quilters Guild (GMQG) is coordinating efforts statewide to document locations of barn quilts with the ultimate goal of an online interactive map of barn quilt locations for each county.

Complete this form if you have a barn quilt affixed to your house, garage, barn, or other outbuilding and would like it included in a statewide self-guided tour. Vermont has several active groups involved in promoting barn quilts regionally. If your barn quilt is already part of one of these groups, you don't need to complete this form.
Also, if you are interested in helping to document barn quilts in your area you can use this form for each barn quilt encountered. Documenting barn quilts isn’t hard to do, but, if one isn’t easily seen from the road, please ask the property owner for permission to include it on an online map.   Collecting this information is a fun project for anyone who loves to drive the backroads of Vermont.  It works best when there are two people – one to drive and one to write down the information.

Note: When asking permission of the property owner explain that we are compiling information about the barn quilts in order to provide an online “Quilt Trail” that visitors may visit as they travel our back roads.  We will not include the owners’ names on any publicity or on the website.
