They will also participate in activities and serve as a positive example while doing so. While Junior Camp Counselors will be highly encouraged to assist Camp Counselors with many aspects of being a Counselor, they will not have any supervisory or disciplinary powers.
E. Discipline/ Removal
AAKC understands that there will be times when every camper, including our Junior Counselors, has a difficult day. First and foremost, the camp staff desires to resolve any issues and conflicts between and among campers and keeps all campers involved in all activities. Junior Counselors will operate on the 3-strike system. Parents will be notified after each strike. After the third strike, Junior Counselors will be asked not to return. Extreme offenses will be handled on a case by case basis by the Coordinator/Assistant Director and Camp Director(s) and may result in immediate dismissal from Argo Adventure Kids Camp.
