The North Kingstown Educational Foundation is hosting a charity basketball game on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 4:30pm at the NKHS Main Gym. This event is the closing of our annual NKEF Reading Madness Challenge.
It is a celebration of all the readers who read for their school teams. The readers will be able to pick up their prizes that they earned from reading and the winning school teams will be presented with their grant awards during halftime. It is a NKSD faculty/staff "Skippers" team vs. NKPD Team.
We are looking for volunteers to play on the Faculty/Staff team coached by Lane Leedahl, a group of cheerleaders, players for the NKPD team as well as individuals who are willing to help support the event (prize distribution, concession stand and more). Basketball experience and practice time is optional!!!
Warm-ups begin at 4pm and we anticipate that the event will conclude around 6pm. Each volunteer receives a T-shirt for participating/supporting the event. Thank you in advance for your support.
