The purpose of the Youth for Environmental Action (YEA) is to connect youth from across Santa Cruz County who want to increase student involvement in environmental stewardship and climate action. YEA leaders work together on action projects and also plan and lead the annual Santa Cruz County Environmental Action Summit. There are two levels of involvement: 1) Leadership Team, 2) Support Team

NOTE: The leadership team is limited to 3-5 students per high school to ensure space for schools across the county to participate. All YEA Leadership Team members are also part of the Youth Led Leadership Alliance which meets once a month on Saturdays from 11am - 2pm.
