To request a Let's Talk Science visit from our volunteers, please fill out the following form.

A reminder that we are a volunteer-based organization, and that although we try to meet all requests, we cannot guarantee a visit. A coordinator will be in touch with you once you have been matched with a volunteer. Please give us at least 2 weeks' notice for your request.

What type of visit are you looking for? *

We can have our volunteer(s) enter your classroom and facilitate a workshop in person. We would provide the materials.

We can provide a list of easily accessible consumable materials and facilitate a live workshop through an online platform (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.). We may supply these consumable materials if needed.

We can provide a list of easily accessible consumable materials and include a written description of the activity for the teacher to carry out along with a static video. We may supply these consumable materials if needed.

We can provide activities to educators for students who are at home by providing a static video of an activity using simple materials found at home.

For those educators who have students at home without internet who are not attending school, we have some options that we would be happy to discuss.

The Youth Impact Surveys will be used to measure the impact our volunteers have on the youth we reach. The surveys are the best tool we have to understand the unique needs of youth and educators in order to improve our programming. Each student in your class will need to fill out the form after the workshop event - this can be done at your own convenience.
