MIT Node CoolThink Professional Development Blended Learning in 2023 (Cantonese)
The MIT HK Innovation Node will offer PD for computational thinking with App Inventor. It not only introduces the CoolThink curriculum, but also practices such as constructionism, growth mindset and design thinking.

During the self-study periods, participants will go through the teachers’ guides with videos to learn App Inventor and the CoolThink curriculum at their own pace.

The face-to-face discussions will focus on helping participants understand how to help students develop computational thinking, digital identities, and digital empowerment through interactive activities, hands-on projects and group discussions. Toal 28hours
  • Level 1 – 6 hours - Face-to-face discussions
  • Level 1 – 8 hours - Self-study with assessment
  • Level 2 – 6 hours - Face-to-face discussions
  • Level 2 – 8 hours - Self-study with assessment
