Online Group Classes: Intermediate Tuesdays, 4-5pm
This class is open to all intermediate students grades 3-8! You have to know all the legal rules of chess, including checkmate and stalemate, and have either had some private lessons or have been in a chess club before. No tournament experience necessary. We will focus on tactics and strategies, opening and endgame techniques, checkmate patterns, game analysis and critical thinking skills. Classes include student-centered lesson followed by practical games within your group. Taught by instructors Evan Olsdal and Jessica Martin, alternating weeks.
