Want some Nordschleife?

APX is an open source licensed toolkit for rFactor 2. To test it's capabilities, i am thinking about hosting a 24h event on the Nordschleife DLC track. As this is a quite large task for one person to do, I am searching for collaborators.

Also, I want to use this form to identify interested teams and participants before I spent months of planning and money for nothing.

It is currently nothing more than an blank sheet, so this is only a first request for feedback/ interest, nothing more. This is also not planned as a kick off for a league, it is just meant as a single event to be held.

The difference
This is the first endurance event managed by the APX toolchain. Updates, skins and numberplates are created and added by the toolchain. Signup/Livery upload is done via an easy upload form.

APX adds an event-based API on the server aswell as a race control website (in-dev) and a event-specific livetiming.

Currently, it looks like 80-ish cars can be possible.
 Why I am asking for collaboration?
πŸ‘‰ To host an successfull event, a proper presentation is needed (especially with streaming as I am not capable of doing proper streams)
πŸ‘‰ A multi head race control is required to cover the whole event
πŸ‘‰ The date is tbd to prevent clashing with your and other leagues events
Why should I collaborate?
πŸ‘‰ This is meant as a large event (> 50 < 90 participants), which can result in a lot of bandwith if successfully done
πŸ‘‰ The race can be used as advertisement for **your** league or projects, e.g. with banners on the cars
πŸ‘‰ Be part of a large event as we are all petrolheads :)

What are the risks?
πŸ›‘The amount of slots for participants may heavily depend on the rFactor 2 server capabilities
πŸ›‘ If APX or the game server fail to deliver, the event will not be held (as we go beyond 50 cars this will be quite a challenge)
πŸ›‘ If there is no proper interest, the event will not be held. The event will only be held if the real signups almost or fill the grid completely
πŸ›‘ There is neither a date nor a time defined yet. It is just an idea.
I am interested to participate as:
If you are interested to drive, which class would you prefer? If the server manages 80+ cars properly, we can run more than 4 classes. Otherwise, it will less than or equals 4 classes.
