Shipping/Production Assistant Application

Hours: up to 40 (full and part time positions available)

Summary:
We're hiring! Cellar Door Bath Supply Co. is looking for 1-2 full time employees (part time positions available, too). Do you like things that smell good? Do you have a good work ethic and enjoy groan-worthy dad jokes? We are a busy, but fun work environment, and would love to add YOU to our team! Experience is a plus, but not required. Qualifications:
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to work closely with others as a team member
• Must be flexible, energetic, and able to meet production goals
• Able to adapt to fluctuating hours and overtime expectations as needed
• Demonstrate ability to follow directions and adhere to quality standards
• Must be able to withstand physical requirements such as standing for long periods
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 30-50 pounds as necessary
• Must have reliable transportation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
At Cellar Door Bath Supply, we all wear many hats and our daily tasks vary depending on what is needed of the team on that day. A typical day at the soap factory may include any of the following tasks.
• Pick customer orders and pack for shipment.
• Create quality bar soaps & candles which meet company and customer standards.
• Label bar soaps and candles.
• Assist in the production of bar soaps and candles.
• Work with fragrances and warm liquid oil & wax products.
• Pour, wick, label and/or process and package candles.
• Cut bar soaps and stack on curing racks.
• Participate in random dance breaks throughout the day (optional).
• Receive and unpack materials shipments.
• Follow safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, face shields, sleeves and masks based upon the area you are working and the product being manufactured.
• Other duties as required.
