Thank you for your interest in supporting our Rally for Barnegat Bay Program! In order to collect data and track down non-point source pollution affecting the bay, we need the help of community scientists like yourself!
Community science is collaborative scientific work conducted by members of the general public, professionals and amateurs alike, under the direction of professional scientists or scientific institutions. Community science allows us to collect data that is essential to Clean Ocean Action's mission to improve water quality of Barnegat Bay. Clean Ocean Action's current community science opportunities include water quality monitoring in the Toms River Watershed. Community science activities may include bending, lifting (up to 20 lbs), reaching, or navigating rough terrain including in adverse weather conditions.
Please fill out this form if you would like to volunteer and receive communications about our Rally for Barnegat Bay program.
