The Southern Maine Workers Center is partnering with First Parish Portland to offer this free online workshop for the First Parish Portland community!

This workshop will be a group discussion centered on the co-occurring healthcare and economic crises, using 5 compelling panels of art as our entry into these discussions.

The panels inspire a hopeful vision for change in a time when many in Maine are suffering from being unemployed, uninsured, lacking adequate healthcare, or struggling from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Together we will ponder some questions about our current healthcare and economic systems, think about actions we can take towards creating change, and dream about creating the world we want to live in.
