Fresh Start - UofM

Are you new to campus and looking for new friends and support in your transition to college? Fresh Start is an interactive 5-week group cohort designed to offer you and your peers the opportunity to gain important tools for navigating college life. Over the course of 5 weeks we will cover:

  • Study habits/skills and navigating the academic environment

  • Financial literacy and budget management

  • Developing a routine and managing your mental and physical health

  • Campus involvement and networking

  • Campus resource tour

By the end of the cohort our hope is that you will have connected with new friends and peers, have the tools you need to succeed, and know what resources are available for your on-going support on campus. Everyone that completes all 5 weeks will receive a $50 gift card to the University of Memphis bookstore.

When: Wednesdays 4-5pm, Aug. 30th-Sept. 27th   

Where: UC Poplar Room (room 308)

Registration deadline: Tuesday Aug. 29th
