The Scarsdale Council of Parent Teacher Associations (PTC) and the seven individual Scarsdale PTA units use photographs, videos, and recorded images of students in PTC/PTA-produced materials, including but not limited to PTA newsletters or eblasts, PTC/PTA websites and social media outlets (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), and school building displays. The PTC/PTAs also write articles about PTC/PTA or school events for internal and/or local publication.
Students will not be identified by name in any PTC/PTA-produced materials. However, as part of their publicity efforts, the PTC/PTAs may share photographs, videos, and recorded images with the Scarsdale School District or with local print and online media, which may require student names for captions or which may independently seek to identify student names for captions. In addition, the PTC/PTAs may invite local media to cover PTC/PTA events or submit articles to local media about activities in which participating students are quoted or referenced.
