Withdraw from a Home Education Program
Withdrawal forms can be submitted as early as 30 days prior to the withdrawal date. Submissions earlier than 30 days from the planned withdrawal date will not be processed and a new withdrawal form will need to be submitted closer to your planned withdrawal date.

Note: It takes 2-3 business days to fully process your withdrawal and send the confirmation email. See below if your student is enrolling into a Clay County public school.

If you are enrolling your student in a Clay County Public school, once your home education program withdrawal is processed, you will receive the directions and parent access key to proceed with the ParentVue Clay County registration process. Please be on the lookout for that confirmation email and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive it within 3 business days. It will come from HSCinfo@myoneclay.net. Do not create a new registration in ParentVue for your student. This will create errors and delay your students enrollment further.

Notice of lowered income potential: Students aged 16 and older are not required to be enrolled in school to meet compulsory attendance requirements. Failure to complete a high school course of study, whether through a public, private, or homeschool program,  puts the student at risk of having lower income earning potential as an adult.

In Compliance with section 1002.41(1)(a), Florida Statutes, this is written notice from the parent/guardian to terminate a Home Education Program for the following child. The parent/guardian is responsible for submitting the final program evaluation to the school district home education office upon termination/withdrawal from the home education program in compliance with section 1002.41, Florida Statutes.
