Book Group:  Deep Work
This fall Dr. Han-fen Hu, Faculty Center Fellow, will facilitate discussions on the book, Deep Work. The author of the book discusses the ability to focus without distraction on cognitively demanding tasks. The book offers practical tips that we all can apply in our daily work.

In the book group, we hope to learn the skills of deep work through reading the book and sharing our thoughts and experiences. We all work on cognitively demanding tasks on a daily basis. Regardless you are research-focused, teaching-focused, or administration-focused, we can all apply the tips from the book to “produce better results in less time.”

NOTE:  Books will be sent to those who register on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please indicate on the form below if you prefer a hard copy or electronic copy of the reading.  Hard copies will be delivered to your department.
