St. Mary’s Episcopal Church is happy to announce the formation of Pulses & Beats - A Steel Pan Music School available to students in Grades 1 through 8 who live in Boston and beyond.  We teach steel pan technique, percussion technique, ensemble performance, different cultural styles of music and Basic Music Theory.  We will meet every Saturday beginning November 9th from 11am-2pm (except Thanksgiving & Christmas Weekends) through January 11th. Students will sign up for classes that go from 11am-12:30pm or 12:30pm-2pm. Each semester requires a $70 deposit per student, $50 of which is returned at the conclusion of the semester provided that there was strong commitment and participation.
