Hello there fellow bipeds, waste-reducers, and creatures of the C! Queen City Commons is working to bring compost drop-off programs to various neighborhoods around Cincinnati. We're excited to hear about your interest in composting!
How the drop-off program works:
For $5-15/month, you'll receive access to a clean and secure compost bin located within your neighborhood, at which you can drop-off your food scraps at any time during the week. Every week, we collect the full bin and take those food scraps to a local farm to be composted and used as a microbial-rich soil amendment. In order to ensure composting is accessible to everyone, regardless of income, we also offer free drop-off for households who are unable to afford a monthly payment.
Fill out the survey below to tell us where you want a drop-off bin! Once we receive enough responses from a neighborhood, we'll begin the process of finding a host.
