Dates. Please select options for a generalized timeframe that will work for you. The Arts Center will determine dates for installation, uninstallation, reception, etc. The Arts Center is the sole builds a schedule and some dates are already taken, so please select a second or third choice. Please note, the following are general rough estimates. Exhibits range from 4 to 8 weeks approximately.  *
Required
Reception. The Arts Center provides light refreshments and bite size non messy food items. Examples: wine, tea or coffee, cheese/cracker tray, veggie tray. We want to keep snacks 'bite size' since we are in a gallery. Artists are welcome to bring in something special, but there is no obligation. Will you bring an item with you?  *
Art Installation.
As part of professional development, we allow artists to hang their solo exhibit independently.
*
Insurance. Not required, but encouraged.

Insuring your art should be fundamental to any artist. We realize many artists are emerging and not in the business of regular selling. We encourage artists to purchase their own insurance to cover their art in case of loss. If art is your career, you'd want to purchase business insurance to cover the work you make—protecting it for the value of what you would've earned if you had sold the piece through your gallery. It is not required. The Arts Center is insured for artwork in our gallery in case of disaster, up to a certain amount.

Please send all photos, bio, and press details to The Arts Center 6 months prior to the installation of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be advertised online via our website, social media platforms, mass email, local
newspaper, and more as applicable. The Arts Center makes every effort possible to best represent an artist, requesting details well in advance.  During your exhibit the arts center staff are actively engaging with the public on your behalf. We always encourage artists to share their solo exhibit through social media or other forms, in addition to what the Arts Center shares. Additional advertising will be the responsibility of the artist/s.

Please tell us if your artwork will be listed for sale, or not for sale.

The Arts Center does not charge gallery fees for artists with work priced to sell. In the situation that your work is not listed for sale, we encourage a small fee of $60 for the Maxwell Gallery. The Arts Center will work with you on fees based on your needs. The Great Hall Gallery has a $300 fee for art listed as NFS.

Commission: The Arts Center keeps 20-25% commission on all art sold in the gallery during the exhibition time.

All artists exhibiting are in agreement with our commission and gallery fees process.
