Board Inquiry Survey
Please set aside about 15 minutes to complete this questionnaire.
Some background on where we are as an organization with our current Board:
Board meetings the 2nd Thursday of each month
Board members are expected to attend events, encourage others to attend events, volunteer for the organization, help with storyteller recruitment efforts, and of course, assist in fundraising efforts.
Board members can expect to spend about 4 hours/month on the organization's work, sometimes more depending on what we have going on.
We will eventually have 3 working committees if we decide that will be useful:
Executive Committee (Board Chair, (and Vice Chair if we have one) Secretary, and Treasurer; chaired by Board Chair).
Financial committee - chaired by the Treasurer
Programming Committee - The programming committee helps make decisions about programming, including selecting the storytellers. They are also the "boots on the ground" folks who help with events and event promotion.
