Petition to Call a Referendum to Amend Chapter 10.1 of the TCDSU Constitution
The following is a petition to call a referendum to amend the constitution of Trinity College Dublin Students' Union. The amendment would add a subsection (g) to chapter 10.1 of the constitution and create a Board of Advisors to assist the Editor of The University Times with the running of the newspaper, which was one of the core promises of Cormac Watson's election campaign. The Board of Advisors, which would consist of up to nine voting members, would advise the Editor about matters of journalistic practice, staffing, strategy, administration, finance and other matters.
