As an organisation deeply rooted in our community's history, Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre has proudly supported LGBTQ+ people for decades. However, we also recognise the importance of critically analysing where we have fallen short and strive to improve.
We are aware of some of the many challenges faced by disabled, neurodivergent, and deaf LGBTQ+ people - whether it's accessing LGBTQ+ spaces like Outhouse, being considered in the creation of LGBTQ+ social events and support services, or being centred in discussions and decisions that impact their rights.
With this in mind, Outhouse will host an Accessibility Town Hall meeting on Thursday, 9 May, at 6:00 pm.
If you cannot attend this event but would like to participate in future events concerning accessibility at Outhouse or disability issues in the LGBTQ+ community, please register by completing this form.
