Providing an exciting, high-quality tournament experience at the state tournament requires the help of many volunteers! Fill out this form by February 28 if you'd like to volunteer at the state tournament, which will be held on May 18-19, 2023, at Ashland University in Ashland.

Volunteer Opportunity - State Tournament - Choose All That Apply

POSITION FILLED - Signmaker - during the month before the tournament, make 8/12x11 signs for outside writing rooms and other locations; make one large sign on an easel for Convocation Center lobby; Make directional signs on small metal stands (number TBD). Put them up on campus beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday.

POSITION FILLED - Greenroom host - 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Friday - greet presenters as they arrive

POSITION FILLED - Assistant meals/residence hall rooms coordinator - Thursday 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

POSITION FILLED Hotel rooms coordinator - assign staff to rooms and send them information; happens a month before the tournament

Merchandise sales - Thursday shift 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Merchandise sales - Thursday shift 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Merchandise sales - Friday shift 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Merchandise sales - Friday shift 12:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Merchandise sales - Friday shift 4:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. - count and pack unsold merchandise

Book signing and sales - Thursday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Book signing and sales - Friday 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Book signing and sales - Friday 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tabroom 10 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. Friday
