The Learning & Technology Resource Center conducts workshops to prepare candidates for the New York State Teacher Certification Examinations. The workshops are conducted each semester for specific exams. See the schedule below for current workshops offered. Note: Currently enrolled CCNY students (including Teaching Fellows) are eligible to take these free workshops at the City College of New York. Since this is an additional workshop, students who were not able to participate in an earlier session will be given priority in this workshop.

This examination is offered at two levels: the Elementary level, and the Secondary level.  The ATS-W Elementary test should be taken by students who are teaching in Grade K through Grade 6. The ATS-W Secondary should be taken by students teaching in Middle Schools and High School grade levels.  Participants should review the 'Test Design Framework' for the appropriate ATS-W (Test Design & Frameworks) and the test exemplars at the end.
