ASCILITE LA SIG Workshop Registration - How do students solve problems?
It has been said that "learning to solve problems is the most important skill that students can learn in any setting" (Jonassen, 2004, p. xxi). Continuing the ASCILITE Learning Analytics SIG's series on "How learning science can inform learning analytics", this workshop will provide a chance to come together face-to-face to explore not only how students solve problems, but also how learning analytics can help us observe and support problem solving for better learning outcomes. The workshop will involve a series of hands-on, interesting... and sometimes challenging... problems to solve and will be a great learning and networking opportunity for the ASCILITE community. We are very excited to be able to come together in person for the first time in four years to keep the conversation going about the ways that learning analytics can be used to better understand how our students learn.

The workshop will take place in four locations - Adelaide, Auckland, Brisbane and Melbourne - and will be followed up by an online event that will bring together the learnings across the four groups at a later date.

Please note that that the workshop is an in-person event (no recordings will be made available).

Please only register if you can attend in person (for catering and space purposes). There are limited spaces available at each venue, so please register early to avoid missing out.
