Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Long Island Retro Gaming Expo! We are always in need of volunteers for our flagship convention and other gaming events throughout the year.

Additional Information

Water, snacks, meals will be provided to all volunteers. In addition, all volunteers will be getting free entrance for themselves, staff t-shirt and the Volunteer Appreciation BBQ scheduled in late August after the Expo.

The Expo will host a mandatory information & training meeting for all volunteers. Two meeting times options will be offered.

(NOTE - This system is on hold until after 2022. Current volunteer rewards include weekend passes to the show, a guest weekend pass to the show, food, staff shirt and a discount off of Expo merchandise. ) The Expo has an XP rewards points system based on the amount of hours volunteered and the area where the volunteer assists. XP can be used to obtain Expo Merch and/or tickets to the show for yourself or friends and family. The XP system and rewards will be disclosed will all volunteers prior to the Expo. The XP points systems and the rewards benefits are subject to change at the Expo’s discretion.

The Long Island Retro Gaming Expo reserves the right to decline applications.

The Expo assigns volunteer positions based on the requirements of the event. Every effort will be made to place each volunteer in the area requested.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

This event will require extensive standing for all roles unless specified.

Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue.

In order to ensure a safe environment for the attendees, all volunteer applicants will be subject to a public records search. I authorize the Long Island Retro Gaming Expo to conduct the public records search. *
