You are the first invitees to my new podcast. The format is to suggest some media consumption to one another.

So how does it work? Maybe you want to get back into music and you need someone to create a playlist to ease you back into what is "hip" and "cool" with "the kids today" (probably none of those phrases and words). Maybe you want to introduce a friend or a spouse to a band that you love but they have never gotten into them or simply haven't figured out a way to get them from "there" to "here". Maybe YOU have always wanted to get into a band and don't know where to start. Maybe you want to get your kids to listen to something you love and you want an excuse to do it. Think of it as visiting a therapist.  

The Format:
There will be an initial recording session. We will have a casual conversation amongst ourselves to give me (as your host) the information I need to put together a playlist. This session should take no longer than 30 minutes. After the initial meeting I will do my research and put together a playlist that everyone should listen to (together or separately). Once you have had time to listen to the playlist and talk about it amongst yourselves.

Within about 2 weeks of the initial recording we will regroup for a follow up session where we can see how it went. We may listen to some of the tracks and discuss our experience between the recommender and recommendee.

At the end the invitee can give an assessment.
   1 - Still not interested
   2 - There are some songs here that I will listen to again
   3 - I will definitely listen to this playlist again
   4 - I am a fan. I want to hear MORE.

Additional points: I would like to also recommend movies and podcasts in a similar fashion. This might be a slightly separate format but if this sounds interesting to you. Make sure to mention it in the additional notes below.
