Request for General Education Faculty Funding
Please use this form to request faculty development funds through the Office of Innovation in General Education. The request must be directly related to strengthening the General Education program.

Funding can be used to support any of the following GE related activities:
- Provide an honorarium to external speakers that broaden the perspectives discussed in class and increase the visibility of underrepresented groups or individuals doing work in your discipline.
- Engage students through cultural and arts events, museum exhibits, film screenings, field trips, or other enriching activities and experiences
- Travel to gather and develop content to enhance the delivery of the course
- Attend pedagogical training/workshops to improve delivery of the course

Please identify at least one of the above in the description of your request. If approved, you must submit a brief explanation of how the funds were used and the impact on Gen Ed, once the activity concludes.

Completing this form does not guarantee approval. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for your request to be processed. Notification of approval/denial will be communicated via email. All funds must be dispersed and used within the same fiscal year, with activity concluding by June 15 of that year.
