Walking the Wilderness - LCM Spring Retreat
Please fill this out if you're planning on joining in our AWESOME spring retreat we're calling "Walking the Wilderness." Cole Arthur Riley will keynote this retreat and lead small groups around 7pm on Friday and Saturday night. Cole is a campus minister and spiritual formation leader at Chesterton House at Cornell. She routinely leads conversations about theology, beauty, embodiment, rest, and justice; and is also the genius behind @blackliturgies on Instagram. We're asking everyone who signs up to tune into those. We'll also have an optional online yoga and journaling workshop, in-person volunteer opportunities near George Floyd Square, in-person time together in the wild (or as close as that as you can get in the Three Rivers Park District), and plenty of frivolity and joy to round the weekend out. We hope to share at least one dinner together (maybe more), distanced, and outdoors.
Many of the logistics outside of Cole's evening keynotes on Friday and Saturday will depend on the weather and the Covid situation. We're asking you to be flexible with all of that, and we'll send out a sign up with Saturday's events and a more detailed schedule in early March (when Covid + weather situations will be more clear).
Dates: March 26-27, with an optional outdoor Sunday morning (the 28th) Palm Sunday worship.
Cost to You: $25
