DescriptionThe RI Pharmacy Foundation (RIPF) plans to recognize a 2024 graduate from a College of Pharmacy and/or Residency/Fellowship program not in Rhode Island that is moving into the state to practice as a newly-registered Pharmacist.
The recipient will receive:
- $500 and
- A one-year New Licensed Pharmacist membership to the Rhode Island Pharmacists Association (RIPA).
CriteriaInterested individuals must meet the following criteria established by the RI Pharmacy Foundation.
Student Applicants must:
- Be a 2024 PharmD candidate/graduate in good academic standing;
- Not be a URI College of Pharmacy student;
- Be actively engaged in extracurricular professional activities; and
- Commit to actively participate on one or more RIPA committees/teams (Visit https://www.ripharmacists.org/committees for additional information)
Resident/Fellow Applicants must:
- Not have attended URI College of Pharmacy;
- Have demonstrated professional engagement within their pharmacy community;
- Provide a letter of recommendation from their Residency/Fellowship program director
- Commit to actively participate on one or more RIPA committees/teams (Visit https://www.ripharmacists.org/committees for additional information)
Prior award recipients are not eligible for consideration.
