Time: 10am if you need to glaze. 11am if you are not glazing.
Please remember to wear closed-toe shoes and cotton clothes. No shorts or skirts please!There is a lot of smoke involved in the process. We recommend bringing a mask or respirator if you have one. We also suggest that long hair be pulled back.
Please bring your bisque-ware. Since kiln space is limited we ask that participants bring 3-4 pieces. Tall, thin pieces are most likely to make it in for a firing.
The studio has raku glazes available as well as horsehair and feathers. We do ask that you wax your bottoms (this can be done at the studio the day of the firing). If you have any questions please reach out to lindsayrenz@netzero.net
Cost is $20 for members and $25 for non members. Payment is due at the firing please pay in check or cash.
