2020 Alternative Intercultural Service Break Application
Want to explore more of North Carolina with other NC State students?  Looking for something to do when residence halls close for Spring Break in March?  Join OIS and fellow NC State students on a Spring Break trip to beautiful Black Mountain, North Carolina!  We’ll spend the week participating in activities and making new friends while we explore the North Carolina mountains!  Week activities include visits to local museums, service learning projects, hiking, time in downtown Asheville and more!

Location: Blue Ridge YMCA in Black Mountain, North Carolina

Dates: Saturday, March 7, through Saturday, March 14, 2020

Cost: The trip cost is $265 and includes housing for the week, most meals, transportation and most of our activities (additional optional activities may be offered for an additional cost).  A $115 deposit will be required if your application is accepted for the trip.

Preference will be given to first year students living in an on-campus residence hall that will close during NC State’s Spring Break.
