Silver Birch Reading Club 2021
Read at least 5/10 nominated new titles by Canadian authors in one or more reading categories this winter and join children across North America who get the chance to make one Canadian author famous!  This program takes place offline.

Every two weeks children pick up a new title from one of the following reading categories via their home library branch: Silver Birch Express, Silver Birch Fiction or Silver Birch Non-Fiction (Yellow Cedar).  Children receive a “Book Passport” to complete for all categories in which they read; this is handed in at the end of the program.  For every book read, they receive a ticket in a large prize draw.

Throughout the duration of the program special book based activities will be provided to children to complete at home. Voting takes place at the end of the program and top readers as well as draw winners receive prizes including pizza, gift cards and more!  At this time, there are no in branch meetings for this program this year.  Questions?  Please contact Kathleen at kcharlton@mypubliclibrary.ca or 705-292-5065.
